Goodbye Iran

Today is March 2, 2023, and I will leave Iran for Britain in two hours. I have a strange feeling. I have lived in Iran for 32 years. I have to leave behind my family, friends, and many attachments. Unfortunately, my suitcase is too small to fit all those attachments. In an hour, I will arrive in a land I never even imagined visiting. But no one knows the future. After Mona was accepted to the University of Surrey in Guildford, we decided to move to England and stay there until she finishes her studies. I am familiar with British history because I love history. However, I am not familiar with the culture and lifestyle of modern-day England. I hope to make good friends and find peace with my wife.
I consider this period an amazing experience because it allows me to study and do research freely. So perhaps I am in the goldenest time of my life.
Goodbye Iran, I’ll be back soon!
امیدوارم هر جا هستی، موفق و سلامت و شاد باشی.
